Nord Festival

Fourteen pieces built from one idea: the festival happens in a dark room, so everything on screen is a dark room. We shot in four Montreal cinemas between screenings, on 16mm where the room allowed it, and scanned the reels ourselves. The award cards reuse the same six plates in a different order, which is how a package this size gets made in five weeks.
