Halcyon Bay

One location, ten shots, no cuts faster than four seconds. Meridian wanted the audience to feel the weather before the first line of dialogue, so the sequence is a single slow push through fog with the cast names surfacing as the rock does. We shot two days on the Gaspe coast and used the second day's fog, which was the only real fog we got. Everything else is the grade.
